Thank you for 2014!

As we conclude our first full year after the relaunch of the GeorgeAlmeida.com blog, we are happy to announce that the traffic to this site has generated a small amount of revenue this past year and averaged approximately 1,150 views per week and had approximately 59,800 views. It’s not much, but to be honest, it’s more than I expected after only one year and very little attention given to the blog over the last half of the year. Sometimes life gets in the way. Hopefully I’ll be able to dedicate a little more time to the cause next year.

After the holidays, we’ll get the paperwork in order and cut the first check to charity. The first donation will go to the Prostate Cancer Foundation. This is a cause that is near and dear to my heart as my father passed away at the young age of 43 after being diagnosed with prostate cancer. They’ve made great strides since the mid 80’s both in the pre-screening and surgery.

For those of you who are returning visitors to this blog, you’ve undoubtedly noticed the recent changes to georgealmeida.com.  It has been streamlined and updated to a more responsive format completely compatible with multiple browsers and mobile devices. This was important to me since more and more folks browse the web on their tablets and phones. Also, the blog was recently moved to a new host provider.

Thank you for visiting the site. I hope we’ve been able to offer some insight regarding your technology questions. Please visit us again!
