Thank you for 2015!

As we conclude our second full year after the relaunch of the GeorgeAlmeida.com blog, we are happy to announce that the traffic to this site has increased 70% and has also enjoyed a small revenue increase over the previous year. We averaged approximately 1,980 views per week and went over the 100,000 views mark (103, 139). It’s not much, but to be honest, it’s more than I expected after not having the time to update the blog as much as I wanted to. Working full time and raising a family most definitely puts a restraint on how much time I have to spend on this blog.  Hopefully I’ll be able to dedicate a little more time to the cause this year.

As you may already know, ALL proceeds (less hosting fees) derived from this blog are donated to charity.  This year we will be donating to one of the many children’s charities out there. We haven’t decide which one yet but will update this post as soon as we do. There are many children out there who have very little to eat and no toys to play with and of course many sick children who unfortunately spend way too much of their time in a hospital instead of outside playing with other children. We also plan to increase our volunteer work this year as well.

For those of you who are returning visitors to this blog, thank you! I’ve receive many emails and communications from people all over the world about how one of the articles helped them one way or another. It definitely makes the time spent on this project well worth it when I hear such nice things.

Thank you for visiting the site. I hope we’ve been able to offer some insight regarding your technology questions. Please visit us again!
